Meet Our Auctioneer

Paul Nisly

Paul has owned and operated Nisly Auction Co. since 1974 specializing in real estate auctions of all types including farms and ranches, urban and rural homes as well as commercial property in the central-Kansas area. Paul also specializes in all types of personal property auctions for the past 35 years, which include farm machinery auctions, household and antique auctions and construction auctions.

A licensed real estate appraiser and certified under the Kansas Real Estate Appraisal Board, Paul has logged over 7,000 hours of appraisal work over the past 15 years for many area banks, attorneys, individuals and estates. Before starting his own business and joining J.P. Weigand and Sons, Paul managed a Ford New Holland machinery dealership in the Hutchinson area for 13 years.

Paul is a member of the Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, State and National Auctioneers Association, Hutchinson-area Board of REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS®.

Paul’s family is very involved with his auction business. His son, Matt, wife Frieda, and daughter Sondra all help with daily operations. Paul is very active and involved in many community affairs as well as with his church. Paul has lived in the Hutchinson-area all his life and has a good following of clients that help make his business a success.
